Salah Tracker (“the app”) is developed by Dablew Devs (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app uses and how. We built the app to respect your privacy: we do not require an account, we do not ask you to sign in, and we do not collect or sell your personal data.
With your permission, the app reads your device location only on your device to calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla (direction to the Kaaba). Your location is processed locally and is not collected, stored on our servers, or shared by us. You can deny or revoke location access in your device settings at any time.
Your preferences (calculation method, madhab, time adjustments, prayer streak/tracker history, bookmarks, and reading position) are stored locally on your device only. Uninstalling the app removes this data.
Prayer reminders and the adhan are delivered using local notifications scheduled on your device. We do not operate a push-notification server and do not send your data anywhere to deliver them.
The app displays ads through Google AdMob to keep it free. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect device identifiers, approximate (coarse) location, and usage/diagnostic data in order to serve and measure ads. This data is handled by Google under its own policy: Google Privacy Policy. Ads are never shown on the Quran, Qibla, Azkar, or Tasbih screens, or during the adhan.
In the EEA/UK we present a consent form (Google UMP) before serving personalized ads. On iOS, the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites and serves non-personalized ads only, so no App Tracking Transparency permission is requested.
Quran recitation audio is streamed from the public islamic.network content
delivery network when you choose to play it. Standard technical requests (such as your IP address)
are handled by that provider to deliver the audio. The Quran text is bundled in the app and works
offline.
The app is not directed at children under 13. We request family-friendly ad content only.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
